Tasks and responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the clinical data platform and related analytics products
  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities
  • Manage and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and strategic goals
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality analytics and reporting solutions
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to understand needs
  • Translate business requirements into actionable product and data requirements
  • Act as the primary interface between healthcare departments and technology teams
  • Facilitate alignment between IT, data teams, and business functions
  • Drive the development of dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to improve decision-making through data
  • Support the use of data for operational, clinical, and management purposes
  • Promote data-driven practices across the organisation
  • Contribute to data governance frameworks and policies
  • Support the definition of data ownership, access rights, and data standards
  • Ensure appropriate data quality, consistency, and compliance requirements
  • Participate in initiatives related to data security and information governance
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to deliver value incrementally
  • Monitor product performance and continuously improve services
  • Define success metrics and track business outcomes

Must-have criteria
  • Several years of experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or data products
  • Experience managing products, services, or initiatives in a complex organisation
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Understanding of data modeling principles
  • Familiarity with modern analytics architectures and cloud-based data environments
  • Experience with reporting and business intelligence solutions
  • Experience working in agile environments
  • Experience managing backlogs and priorities
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Degree in computer science, data science, health informatics, business informatics, or a related field
  • Equivalent professional experience may also be considered

  • Experience within healthcare, hospitals, life sciences, or medical research
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and hospital operations
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards
  • Experience with cloud data platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks
  • Experience with self-service BI platforms
  • Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics
  • Experience with API integrations and data interfaces
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner
  • Scrum certification or agile certifications
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience driving organizational change
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar agile tools
  • Experience with data catalog or metadata management solutions
