Tasks and responsibilities
  • Lead a large-scale legacy application transformation programme within a complex enterprise technology environment.
  • Own end-to-end project delivery from inception and planning through implementation, deployment, Go-Live, and transition to operations.
  • Define and maintain project scope, delivery approach, Work Breakdown Structure, detailed project plan, milestones, dependencies, and resource plan.
  • Establish project governance, reporting structures, decision-making processes, and stakeholder-engagement plans.
  • Coordinate internal business and technical stakeholders, subject-matter experts, external delivery partners, and related transformation initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate all project workstreams, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Monitor delivery progress, project performance, budget, financial tracking, forecasts, and resource utilisation.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, management updates, and executive-level reporting.
  • Define and coordinate the overall test strategy, testing activities, quality-assurance processes, and defect management.
  • Ensure operational readiness, including performance, stability, security, reliability, deployment readiness, and transition-to-operations requirements.
  • Coordinate deployments and oversee the execution of the Go-Live strategy.

Must-have criteria
  • Several years of experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale and complex IT transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments involving internal teams, external delivery partners, subject-matter experts, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in project planning, scope definition, Work Breakdown Structures, milestone planning, dependency management, and resource planning.
  • Experience establishing and managing project governance, reporting structures, decision-making processes, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience managing project budgets, financial tracking, delivery progress, risks, issues, and project dependencies.
  • Proven experience coordinating project workstreams, testing activities, deployment planning, Go-Live preparation, and operational readiness.
  • Strong organisational, planning, execution, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.

Nice-to-have criteria
  • Experience managing legacy application modernisation, enterprise platform transformation, or large-scale technical migration initiatives.
  • Experience working with complex enterprise application landscapes and highly interconnected systems.
  • Experience coordinating external technology providers or delivery partners in a multi-workstream programme.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management or comparable project-performance monitoring approaches.
  • Experience working in a large, regulated, or highly governed organisation.
