Tasks and responsibilities
- Process, instruct, and monitor global free-of-payment (FOP) securities transfers involving equities, bonds, and standard investment funds.
- Investigate and exchange settlement-related information with counterparties via email.
- Issue settlement instructions to domestic and international custodians/central securities depositories using SWIFT MT540/542 messages and other communication channels.
- Monitor outstanding transactions and proactively resolve pending cases, discrepancies, and settlement issues.
- Handle and respond to inquiries and claims from counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
- Independently investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, including position breaks, transaction taxes, and fees, as well as related booking and reconciliation activities.
- Manage the team's shared mailbox and telephone hotline, including responding to inquiries and distributing work assignments as appropriate.

Must-have criteria
- Detailed knowledge of securities settlement and post-trade operations, including mandatory expertise in SWIFT 54x message types (MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-have criteria
- Experience with SIS Portal, BBH Infuse, and Clearstream Xact (CBL Xact) is advantageous.
