Test Automation Development
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using latest scripting techniques; report quality issues and defects; manage the repository of automated regression tests.
Initiate test automation activities considering already set-up group structures and frameworks.
Analyse, test, and evaluate user requirements, specifications, and models with regard to testability and automation feasibility.
Adapt the test environment and automate test sets for T24/Transact-based applications and their interfaces.
Configure, update, maintain, and deploy the test tools.
Carry out and document tests in accordance with specified test cases or in an exploratory manner.
Framework & Pipeline Management
Ensure automated tests are triggered via scheduled pipelines and results are consolidated and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
Support the integration of automated tests with JIRA/X-ray for traceability and reporting.
Collaboration
Work closely with requirements engineers, developers and Test Managers to convert documented test cases into automated scripts, providing feedback on documentation quality and automation readiness.
Collaborate with requirements engineers and developers to understand application changes that impact existing automated tests and maintain regression stability.
Preparation and execution of training sessions for the broader team when needed.
Support the test manager in estimating automation effort for new projects and upgrades.
