01
Tasks and responsibilities
- Own end-to-end setup and operational readiness of Actico environments (TST, UAT, PRD)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal engineers, architects, external vendors) to deliver environment setup
- Act as primary escalation point for service operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management
- Define and implement infrastructure components including namespaces, pods, networking, and security layers
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Octopus, container registries)
- Ensure deployment automation, logging, monitoring, and observability are in place
- Drive implementation of non-functional requirements (performance, security, resilience)
- Oversee transition from development to UAT and production environments
- Manage firewall, ingress, and connectivity configurations across environments
- Produce and maintain technical documentation (solution design, service design, operational runbooks)
- Coordinate integration and system testing across environments
- Collaborate with product owners and architects to align technical delivery with business goals
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, governance, and security policies

Must-have criteria
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience in DevOps or Application Operations roles
- Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Git, GitLab, Octopus Deploy)
- Solid knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working in Linux environments (preferably RHEL-based)
- Proven ability to manage multi-environment deployments (test, UAT, production)
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and services
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security concepts
- Experience with Java-based application stacks
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL)
- Ability to work across technical and business teams with strong stakeholder management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have criteria
- Experience with Actico or similar Business Rules Management systems
- Exposure to financial services or banking IT environments
- Certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
- Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment automation
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with Eclipse or similar development/debugging tools
- Understanding of enterprise service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Prior experience in regulated environments with strict compliance requirements
- Additional European languages are a plus but not mandatory
