Tasks and responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable integration platform services across enterprise systems
  • Develop robust APIs and event-driven integrations connecting legacy and modern cloud services
  • Ensure reliability, observability, and operational stability of integration components
  • Define and implement reusable integration standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams to enable secure and efficient service integration
  • Support teams in delivering business-critical integrations with a self-service mindset
  • Drive automation and continuous improvement across integration and deployment workflows
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize system resilience
  • Lead technical discussions around orchestration, messaging, and API governance
  • Contribute to platform architecture decisions and long-term integration strategy
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration services
  • Promote secure-by-design principles within APIs and distributed systems
  • Document integration patterns, operational procedures, and technical standards
  • Evaluate and introduce modern integration technologies and tooling
  • Mentor developers and provide guidance on integration and platform engineering topics

Must-have criteria
  • Strong experience designing and developing APIs using REST and OpenAPI standards
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms and container orchestration technologies
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Helm
  • Experience with messaging systems, orchestration platforms, or API management solutions
  • Good programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, Python, or C#
  • Strong understanding of authentication and security concepts including OAuth2, mTLS, and Zero Trust
  • Ability to design reliable and scalable integration solutions for enterprise environments
  • Experience operating production-grade services with monitoring and observability tooling
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
  • Pragmatic problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps-oriented environments
  • Ability to document technical concepts clearly and effectively
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities

Nice-to-have criteria
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming technologies such as Kafka
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
  • Knowledge of banking, fintech, or regulated enterprise environments
  • Experience with service mesh technologies and API gateways
  • Exposure to CI/CD tooling and GitOps workflows
  • Understanding of SRE principles and reliability engineering practices
  • Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, WSO2, or Apache Camel
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance standards
  • Previous experience mentoring engineering teams or acting as a technical lead
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools
  • Understanding of domain-driven design and integration patterns
  • Exposure to serverless or cloud integration services
