Tasks and responsibilities
- Act as the interface between business units, finance/controlling, and IT for data platform operations and enhancements
- Manage and evolve the data warehouse environment (e.g. Power BI, Anaplan)
- Design, build, and maintain data marts and reporting layers
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualisations for business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise analytical use cases
- Own end-to-end delivery of BI solutions from concept to deployment
- Work in agile setups, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting solutions
- Support business decision-making through data-driven insights

Must-have criteria
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or Business Informatics
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (e.g. MySQL)
- Proven experience with BI tools such as Power BI
- Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (business + IT)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Fluent German (written and spoken)
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level)

Nice-to-have criteria
- Experience with Anaplan or similar planning tools
- Background in financial services, fintech, or payments industry
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms or modern data stacks
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
- Exposure to advanced analytics or forecasting
- Experience with additional BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker)
- Additional languages (e.g. French or Italian) are a plus

- German: fluent / business proficient (C1 level or equivalent)
- English: good working proficiency (B2+ or higher)
