Tasks and responsibilities

The Business Analyst / Test Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the SNB-EKE regulatory and data implementation, ensuring end-to-end testing activities meet the highest quality standards. Reporting into the project team, this role will focus on System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Planning and coordinating the overall testing approach for SIT and UAT
  • Preparing, documenting, maintaining, and executing test cases, including regression tests
  • Coordinating and tracking defects, ensuring clear documentation, prioritisation, and resolution follow-up
  • Supporting business users during UAT and facilitating structured business sign-off
  • Ensuring test progress, results, and risks are transparently reported to the project team
  • Contributing to go-live readiness by confirming that testing completion criteria and quality gates are met

Must-have criteria
  • Proven experience as Business Analyst and/or Tester Specialist in IT transformation or regulatory projects
  • Strong experience in SIT and UAT, including test case preparation, execution, and regression testing
  • Experience in regulatory reporting projects within financial services (e.g. AnaCredit) with a strong understanding of data requirements
  • Experience in validating data pipelines, and reporting workflows, including verification of source-to-target data mapping, reconciliation of large-scale financial/regulatory datasets, and identification of data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to work with business and IT stakeholders as well as external vendors
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with structured testing methodologies and test documentation standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with business, IT, and vendor team
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused working style
  • Ability to work independently in a time-critical environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High sense of responsibility and reliability, especially in regulatory projects
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to support and guide business users during testing phases

Nice-to-have criteria
  • Knowledge of EKE project desired
  • SLQ knowledge
  • ISTQB Foundation or similar testing certification recommended but not mandatory
  • German is an advantage
