Tasks and responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor application performance, availability, and resource usage.
  • Communicate with users regarding application issues, messages, and scheduled downtime.
  • Contribute to the specification, testing, and deployment of application releases.
  • Facilitate coordination between application users and various IT teams.
  • Liaise between support personnel and application development teams.
  • Orchestrate application enhancements by integrating technical requirements, developing solution concepts, and finalising release plans.
  • Oversee the continuous monitoring of application operations.
  • Provide expert advice and support to users on application and process management.
  • Analyse application malfunctions and errors to identify root causes.
  • Develop and implement temporary solutions for application issues.
  • Resolve identified application malfunctions and errors.
  • Generate bespoke evaluations and statistical reports for stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive installation plans for application releases.
  • Execute data cleansing and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the upkeep and evolution of inter-application interfaces.
  • Draft or support the creation of change requests for application developers.
  • Produce, update, maintain, and manage essential documentation, including operating and user manuals.

Must-have criteria
  • Proven experience in Application Operations and Service Operations.
  • Ability to work on-site in Zurich.

Contract duration
  • Initial engagement from 17 August 2026 to 28 February 2027.
  • Workload at 100% for the first two months, then 50% thereafter.
