    01
    Tasks and responsibilities
    • Support Avaloq-based accounting and finance projects as part of the consulting team
    • Own accounting topics such as general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, fees, taxes, securities and cash processes within Avaloq
    • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
    • Perform data analysis and investigations using SQL/PL SQL and advanced Excel
    • Ensure accurate postings, reconciliations and reporting inside the Avaloq system in collaboration with senior consultants and client stakeholders
    • Troubleshoot issues, analyse root causes and propose pragmatic solutions
    • Produce documentation, reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
    • Advise business users by clarifying requirements, exploring options and outlining implications
    • Gradually expand expertise into areas such as credit, securities, cash management and tax processes

    Must-have criteria
    • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science or a related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, controlling or similar roles
    • Strong technical affinity and interest in systems and data
    • Knowledge of SQL/PL SQL or clear motivation and aptitude to learn quickly
    • Excellent Excel skills (advanced formulas, lookups, pivots; analytical work)
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to understand the overall context
    • Strong communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders

    Nice-to-have criteria
    • Experience in banking, financial services or core banking systems
    • Practical experience with Avaloq
    • German language skills
    • Exposure to credit, securities, tax or cash processes

    Language requirements
    • English: fluent (main working language)
    • German: an advantage but not required
