Spot Buyer GL1

• Creation and maintenance of purchasing suppliers in the procurement platform
• Independent sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation of prices and offers up to a defined monetary threshold, as well as handling small to medium-sized procurements
• Operational review, preparation, approval, and execution of contracts
• Review, processing, and completion of purchase orders, and digital release to suppliers (SAP SRM/e-Shop)
• Responding to questions about purchase orders from internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Helpdesk and company-wide operational purchasing support
• Operational management of the various buying channels/tools, including purchasing catalogues
• Training and maintenance of knowledge/processes related to the ordering process and procurement platforms

• Initial work experience, preferably in procurement of indirect spend categories (preferably in the financial industry)

• IT affinity, particularly strong MS Office skills
• Holistic process thinking. Structured, analytical approach
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and good in English (B2+)
• Completed (preferably commercial) basic education and possibly undergoing further training or studies

• Completed studies, preferably in business administration, economics, business law, logistics, supply chain, or similar fields
• Courses/training in procurement (e.g., procure.ch or similar)
• Experience with SAP
• Work experience or affinity in one of the following areas: procurement (indirect spend categories, logistics/procurement, supply chain)
• Experience in inside sales (software/hardware) or with cloud and licensing models

12 months with option of extension
