Senior System Engineer

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your main tasks will include the installation, configuration and maintenance of the following systems and products:

• Management and optimisation of virtualised environments
• Implementation and management of backup and recovery solutions
• Securing and configuration of firewalls
• Routing, switching and WLAN technologies
• Monitoring and implementation of security solutions for SaaS applications
• Policy management (NAC) to enforce network security policies
• Management and optimisation of storage solutions
• Administration and maintenance of Linux servers
• System monitoring
• Documentation of work and installation processes

• Completed training in IT or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the administration of the above-mentioned systems
• Sound knowledge of network technologies and security
• Good technical understanding with comprehensive analytical and conceptual skills
• Proactive, systematic and independent way of working
• Good problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
• Willingness to work on call
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland (driving licence cat. B)

• Knowledge of French is an advantage
