Tasks and responsibilities
- Take ownership of the design, implementation and smooth operation of mission-critical ICT components
- Lead ICT workstreams in replacement and new-procurement projects
- Drive infrastructure and application changes (such as server lifecycle updates or functional enhancements) in a structured, change-controlled environment
- Ensure all systems and solutions comply with established ICT architecture and security standards
- Offering competent and solution-oriented ICT support
- Participate in the on-call rota to maintain stable operations outside regular working hours

Must-have criteria
- Completed FH/HF degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
- Solid experience in operating and maintaining high-availability applications and systems
- Strong knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous communication architectures (e.g. REST, SOAP, messaging systems)
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS) and practical experience supporting applications in the cloud
- Proven experience as a project lead for small/medium initiatives or as a key contributor in larger projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, ICT specialists and internal business units
- Fluent German and strong technical English skills
