Tasks and responsibilities
  • Domain- / Hub-Architecture
  • Collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to understand and shape the business vision/architecture and collaborate on their impact on architectural blueprints/runways
  • Defining target architectures harmonised with business stakeholders being both technically and economically feasible
  • Ensuring architecture artefacts in the delivery are aligned with the corresponding target architecture
  • Reviewing and approving of Solution Blueprints and other relevant deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and sustainability of the system
  • In case an exception is needed, responsible to prepare options and request exception
  • Responsible for application lifecycle and overall reduction of architecture debt. Communicate these transparently and protect applications/platforms from too many debts
  • Planning
  • Work with the global domain architects and system architects, shared services, system team and the enterprise architect to define the architectural approach, capability roadmap
  • Contribute to the QBR process and high-level objectives for the upcoming PI planning (enablers)
  • Help summarising findings into an agreed-to set of solution PI objectives and validate alignment of the various technical directions
  • Help the teams to define features and break them down into stories
  • Collaboration
  • Identify risks regarding the deviation of standards and innovation. Connect with discipline architects to address identified issues and contribute to bank-wide solutions
  • Work with stakeholders, customers and suppliers to align the architectural direction with the system intent
  • Work with suppliers, making sure the technical characteristics for supplier-delivered capabilities are understood and assisting with the architectural integration of these concerns

Must-have criteria
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and proven working experience as a architect in the information technology and/ or finance sector
  • Excellent Client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA
  • Analytical and critical mindset

Nice-to-have criteria
  • Experience with Temenos Banking software (T24 and/or Triple’A) are considered as an advantage

  • 11 months with option of extension

Language requirements
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of German and French considered an advantage
