Tasks and responsibilities
  • Own the continuous improvement of our clinical information system, from design to rollout
  • Maintain a stable, secure, and reliable application landscape across Windows client and server environments
  • Lead incident and change management with clear prioritisation, coordination, and communication
  • Deliver new features and user stories end-to-end, including testing, documentation, and handover
  • Act as the primary interface to software vendors and provide robust 2nd-level support
  • Advise and support clinical and business stakeholders with pragmatic, solution-focused guidance

Must-have criteria
  • Tertiary qualification in computer science or equivalent (ETH, university, FH, or HF)
  • Strong hands-on experience with databases (Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Solid understanding of Windows client/server administration and integrations
  • Proven experience with interfaces and standards, especially HL7
  • Service-oriented mindset with clear, confident communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in an on‑call rota

Nice-to-have criteria
  • Exposure to ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management
  • Scripting or automation skills for operational efficiency
  • Familiarity with medical data workflows, interoperability, and compliance requirements

  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Good technical English for documentation and vendor collaboration
