Tasks and responsibilities
- Own the continuous improvement of our clinical information system, from design to rollout
- Maintain a stable, secure, and reliable application landscape across Windows client and server environments
- Lead incident and change management with clear prioritisation, coordination, and communication
- Deliver new features and user stories end-to-end, including testing, documentation, and handover
- Act as the primary interface to software vendors and provide robust 2nd-level support
- Advise and support clinical and business stakeholders with pragmatic, solution-focused guidance

Must-have criteria
- Tertiary qualification in computer science or equivalent (ETH, university, FH, or HF)
- Strong hands-on experience with databases (Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server)
- Solid understanding of Windows client/server administration and integrations
- Proven experience with interfaces and standards, especially HL7
- Service-oriented mindset with clear, confident communication skills
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rota

Nice-to-have criteria
- Exposure to ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management
- Scripting or automation skills for operational efficiency
- Familiarity with medical data workflows, interoperability, and compliance requirements

Language requirements
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good technical English for documentation and vendor collaboration
